Nicole Reed, ARNP-FNP
Nicole Reed is a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Florida Gulf Coast University, her associate's degree in nursing from Rasmussen College and her master's degree in nursing from Loyola University.
After delivering her first child at a birth center, Nicole felt a calling for health care and became a birth assistant at that center. There, she provided prenatal care to thousands of women and assisted in several hundred births. She also cared for the mothers and newborns during immediate postpartum. While working at the birth center part time, Nicole was blessed to be a stay home mom to her four children. While raising her own kids, she witnessed firsthand the amazing growth and development of infants and children, and also learned a great deal about holistic health care from the providers and patients at the birth center.

As her children grew older, Nicole became an RN and worked at Quest Diagnostics, doing wellness screenings. She then became a certified FNP through American Nurse’s Credentialing Center. During her pediatric clinical rotation Nicole landed a spot at Premier Pediatrics in Crystal River, where she was offered a permanent position upon graduation.
She has always been good with children, so this job suits her perfectly. She applies her knowledge and clinical experience, along with her motherly instincts, to help parents provide the best health care to their growing children. While still practicing at Premier, Nicole founded Nurse Nic's Family Healthcare. Here she is able to provide care for the whole family. She splits her time between both practices, and is grateful to help so many patients along their wellness journeys.
Although she specializes in holistic care, Nicole recognizes that there is a time and place for traditional medicine.
